Kukri-style machete — for when pruning shears no longer cut it. The heavy curved blade, 29 cm long, swings itself into the cut and clears branches and brush without snagging. The wooden handle is screwed on and has a lanyard hole, and the leather sheath with a belt loop is held by two snap straps. After this, the path to the far end of the yard exists again.
